The 8th Annual Sankofa Jazz Festival features award-winning Take 6 and includes the first performance of Take 6’s special project, “Join The Band.” In addition to Take 6, Kizie The Violist is sure to wow the crowd. Sankofa Festival participants will also experience art at its finest in AHCAC’s gallery, “Ancestors” by Macedonian artist and filmmaker Kiro Urdin. The Sankofa Jazz Festival is partly sponsored by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Art of Black Miami.
