“The Voices of Penelope” tells the intimate untold story of the wife of Odysseus, hero of “The Odyssey”. In modern feminism, Penelope embodies one of the most traditional yet controversial female archetypes: the woman who waits. The story follows three different women in two different time periods who oscillate between love, irony, and humor only to discover that “to wait is to resist and that Time is not an enemy: it is a fellow traveler”. Written by the Spanish playwright Itziar Pascual, directed by Eugenia Sancho, and performed by actors Letty Carmona, Blanca Jara, and Eugenia Sancho.

(This performance is presented in Spanish.)
