Set the table for romance this Valentine’s Day! Chef Stephen Puhr of Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, will show you how to prepare a seductive dinner for two featuring Filet Medallions and Parmesan Crusted Lobster Tails on the next Cooking with The Galleria free virtual tutorial series on Facebook Live, Tuesday, February 9, at 2 p.m. This special meal will be available for dine-in (Feb. 12 – 14) or as a take-home meal kit. One segment viewer will be selected to receive a deluxe salt sampler valued at $49.95 from The Spice Lab, now open at The Galleria across from Bath & Body Works.

Chef Stephen Puhr discovered his unshakable passion for cooking and warm hospitality at the tender age of 15 while working in a small pizzeria on the south side of Chicago. As a graduate of Chicago’s Le Cordon Bleu, Puhr landed his first position as executive chef for Redstone American Grill at the age of 26. Puhr went on to serve as the Luxury Suite chef for the Utah Jazz, as well as lending his talents to the 2002 Winter Olympics. In 2012, Puhr joined the Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants team, where, today, his role as senior area culinary operations manager has him overseeing scratch kitchens at 10 Cooper’s Hawk locations.

Launched last year during the COVID-19 quarantine, Cooking with The Galleria has successfully entertained hundreds of thousands in the local community. Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is the newest tasteful addition to the series. Previous instructional cooking segments have featured Season’s 52 Chef Elvis Bravo preparing delicious dishes including Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops, Bone-in, Dry-rubbed Pork Chop, Chilean Sea Bass, Gruyere French Omelette, Deviled Eggs with Caviar and Ciabatta Crostini with Quail Egg, Avocado Toast, Maryland Style Lump Crab Cakes, Preserved Lemon Hummus, Seafood Paella, Roasted Vegetable Gnocchi, Shrimp and Grits, Carne Asada Fajitas and Signature Blackened Mahi Tacos. The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale is currently open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, and continues to institute additional safety measures complying with government guidelines.
