David Rifkind, Assistant FIU Professor, Co-Curator of Metropole/Colony: Africa and Italy and Jon Mogul, Academic Program Coordinator, Wolfsonian Teaching Gallery will discuss the exhibition and speak on the role African colonization played in shaping Italian national identity during the Fascist era. The exhibition provides an overview of the visual and material culture of Fascist Italy and its African empire. The talk will be followed by the opportunity to Meet & Mingle with David Rifkind and Jon Mogul.
