KCC Productions Presents Noche Latina A Night Of Salsa At Mai Tardi Restaurant With Krioyo Son 10/21/10

Mai Tardi restaurant continues its “Noche Latina” series, produced by KCC Productions, with Krioyo Son at the restaurant’s outdoor courtyard in the Design District, Thursday, October 21, from 9 to midnight. Party under the stars to some of the best salsa while enjoying a mojito with reasonably-priced Italian cuisine as well as tapas, all without a cover charge!

Krioyo Son is composed of 7 musicians who specialize in traditional Cuban music, as well as Merengue, Cumbia, Boleros, and more.They have played in numerous local events such as Cuba Nostalgia, Alcazabas, and many others. The band includes such musicians as Tony Gundin (drums) who worked with Latino pop stars like Julio Iglesias, Jon Secada, and the Ed Calle Jazz Project, Luis Serrano (bass), a founding member of the Miami Sound Machine, and Jesus “Chuchi” Jorge (trumpet and trombone), who has collaborated with Carlos Santana and is a member of Miami’s outstanding band, Palo.

Mai Tardi is an innovative Italian restaurant located at 163 NE 39th Street in the Design District. Its open courtyard provides a romantic setting for repasts ranging from tapas and pizzas to vegan dishes to specialties from their wood- burning oven such as rack of lamb and butterflied yellowtail snapper.
