Open call bike ride offers early access to Nigel’s AJ1 release; Skatebird x Nigel partnership empowers the next generation of young women

WHAT:
SNIPES and BMX legend Nigel Sylvester are bringing GO Bike Day to Miami Beach on Saturday, August 9, a community-forward event blending sport, style, and culture. The 15.4-mile group ride kicks off at 7:15 PM from SNIPES x We The Best in South Beach and invites riders of all levels to explore the city’s vibrant energy and landscape. The ride culminates in an exclusive sneaker drop, with early access to Nigel’s highly anticipated AJ1 Low collaboration with Jordan Brand. To qualify for access, participants must preregister at the following link: https://goride.aidaform.com/dayofmia. Registered riders will receive a wristband and unique code, and raffle winners will be notified via SMS during the ride. Just 225 pairs will be released, available for purchase only at SNIPES x We The Best starting around 8:15 PM.

The day also includes a powerful giveback moment. Earlier that afternoon, SNIPES and Skatebird will host a private activation for local girls ages 8 to 12. Girls participating in the program will be gifted bikes, apparel, and exclusive Jordan product, all while engaging in an inspiring environment rooted in self-expression and individuality. The experience is designed to ignite confidence and provide a lasting reminder of what’s possible when culture, sport and community collide.
