Gulfstream Park’s Music in the Park, featuring the greatest collection of local homegrown performers, will continue through the spring with weekly duos performing outside on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at the Village Center Stage. All show times are from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Below is the full schedule of performers and their descriptions. Performances are subject to change; cancellations may occur due to inclement weather.

Valerie Tyson Trio
The Valerie Tyson Trio creates magic every time they take the stage. Their repertoire includes today’s Top 40 hits, smooth jazz and soulful R&B classics, essential rock melodies, and even reggae and tropical favorites!

FM Duo
High energy FM Duo has become synonymous with jaw-dropping entertainment and comes ready to perform with a party mindset. Get ready to dance!

Catabella
Tropical Music Vocalist “Catabella” has been performing for over 10+ years in all of South Florida, serving local establishments, festivals, local bands, and many private events. In early 2019 Catabella Music was blessed with joining forces with Armando Latouche from Venezuela, with over 15+ years of International performance and directing experience. Catabella Music is now one of the hottest bands in South Florida, and continues to grow.

DJ David B
David has been creating unique experiences for children and families since 2001. He has done hundreds of private events for clients and created activations for companies such as Nickelodeon, The Gap, Coconut Grove Arts Festival and the Make A Wish Foundation. He also has won the award for “Best Kids DJ’ from the “best of” issue from Los Angeles Magazine.

Extasy
Extasy’s young talent gives new life to the classics, while playing all the hits from today’s biggest stars. This band is truly Miami… a synergistic blend of Latin and American cultures with music from both worlds.

Join us for a special AIRIE Asks with our May Fellow, Gal Nissim, hosted by our Residency Coordinator and 2022 AIRIE Fellow, Arsimmer McCoy.

The talk will be held at the AIRIE Nest Gallery in the Ernest F. Coe Visitors center in the Everglades National Park. Refreshments will be provided.

Gal Nissim is an Israel-born, New York-based, interdisciplinary artist and researcher who investigates human-animal interactions. Nissim’s work has been exhibited at the New Museum, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Time Square, Pioneer Works, Central Park, New York Hall of Science, Artport Tel Aviv in Public Space, Science Gallery Detroit, GStreamer Conference (Berlin), among others. Arsimmer McCoy, AIRIE Residency Coordinator, is a Miami Gardens, Florida-based storyteller, collaborative artist, educator, and cultural worker, who has been dedicated to these disciplines for over a decade. She has performed worldwide alongside artists of multiple disciplines and considers it her obligation to bring back the knowledge and stories to her students in South Florida. More about Arsimmer.

Artists in Residence in Everglades (AIRIE) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit operating in Everglades National Park and the Greater Miami Area. AIRIE supports a paid month-long immersive residency for artists in the park to explore the intersection of arts and the environment. In addition, AIRIE provides its own gallery space, organizes local events, and fosters community with a diverse team engaged in the Miami art scene.
