Ciao! We’re rolling up our sleeves as we make our way through Tuscany to master the art of handmade potato gnocchi. We’ll perfect both Roasted Garlic and Spinach Gnocchi pan seared in a Brown Butter Sage Sauce and compliment it all with a satisfying Tuscan Kale Salad tossed with Tomato Confit. You’ll want to save room for the sweetest encore, a delicious classic Italian pastry of Chocolate Dipped Biscotti pairs perfectly with your Tuscan red vino. Bring your friends, a bottle of your favorite wine and let’s learn the Italian art of culinary simplicity. Boun Appetito! Vegetarian.

Fort Lauderdale-based Freedland Harwin Valori, PL, (FHV) a consumer justice law firm, is serving as the Title Sponsor of the 33rd annual FHVLegal.com Rotary Golf Classic benefiting the Rotary Club of Weston scholarship fund at The Club at Weston Hills. This is the 13th consecutive year that FHV is serving as the Title Sponsor of the event. Longtime Weston resident Michael Freedland, Esq., founding partner of the Freedland Harwin Valori, PL, is leading the sponsorship. He is a former president of the Rotary Club of Weston and has chaired the event for many years.

The golf tournament includes a continental breakfast, breakfast burrito bar, awards luncheon banquet/open bar, complimentary on-course beverages, green fees, use of shared golf cart, official tournament golf ball, practice range and putting green, foursome photo, bag service, official FHVLegal.com Golf Classic golf shirt, and over $100 worth of merchandise per golfer.

To date, the event has raised approximately $1.5 million in scholarships for the Rotary Club of Weston scholarship fund, which supports local high school seniors who are attending college. One hundred percent of net tournament proceeds go toward the scholarships, presented to outstanding seniors from Cypress Bay High School, Western High School, The Sagemont School and HANDY.

This year, the cocktail reception will be held at the Drawdown event on April 16 at The Club at Weston Hills. Approximately 400 guests are expected at the event, which will feature an array of drinks, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment; a $10,000 raffle, silent auction and much more.
