Calling all yogis! Stay grounded and join the New World Symphony for our Yoga Mornings at the New World Center, our monthly community vinyasa yoga series presented by Jackson Health System. To maintain the safest environment for patrons, all Yoga Mornings will be offered online via the NWS Facebook page until further notice. BleauLive at Fontainebleau Miami Beach returns on Saturday, March 6, 2021 with an intimate show with American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, actor and businessman CeeLo Green. BleauLive moves beyond traditional concerts by crafting a fully immersive experience where, in addition to a unique show, fans are invited to amplify their concert experience with dinner at either StripSteak by Michael Mina or Scarpetta by Scott Conant.

Doors open at 8PM and the show begins at 9PM. VIP Dinner packages have available seating at 6PM, 6:30PM and 7PM in each restaurant. Advance dinner reservations are required. Please check in at will call, located outside the Fontaine Ballroom in the main lobby of the hotel, prior to dinner to receive your wristbands and table number. In honor of Women’s History Month, History Fort Lauderdale and The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale will present “Women Trailblazers: Champions of Change – Broward County,” a photography exhibition, March 4 -31. The exhibit, to be displayed at The Galleria (2414 East Sunrise Blvd), will showcase six prominent women of today who are proponents of change along with historical female predecessors who helped to pave the way for our community.

This engaging 40-image exhibit will celebrate the contributions of outstanding women of today including Kareen Boutros, executive director of Broward Workshop; Lori Chevy, market president of Bank of America; Heather Havericak, CEO of Broward Health Medical Center and Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital; Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D., president and CEO of Broward Community Foundation; Stacy Ritter, president and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau and Burnadette Norris-Weeks, Esq. of Austin Pamies Norris Weeks Powell, PLLC and founder of the Women of Color Empowerment Institute.

Past pioneering women to be highlighted include Betty Mae Tiger Jumper, author and founder/publisher of the Seminole Tribune; Dr. Susie Holley, prominent philanthropist; Edee Green, award-winning journalist and one of the founders of Kids in Distress in Broward County; Ivy Cromartie Stranahan, prominent suffragette, first school teacher in Fort Lauderdale, philanthropist and part founder of the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society (now History Fort Lauderdale) and Easter Lily Gates, Broward County’s first woman president of the State Supervisors of Elections, among others.
