Founded in 2005 and celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, PULSE Art Fair welcomes an international roster of exhibitors presenting contemporary art for the engaged buyer. PULSE boasts a history of providing guests with a luxury experience, hosting more than 150,000 patrons since its inception. For the week in the annual art calendar when 80,000 tastemakers descend on Miami, let PULSE be your calm in the palms, your oasis in the chaos.

PULSE Art Fair will take place from Thursday, December 5th to Friday, December 8th at Indian Beach Park, 4601 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33140. PULSE will kick off with a Private Preview brunch on December 5th, allowing guests an exclusive sneak peak of this year’s innovative exhibits. Etra Fine Art located in Miami’s Little Haiti and Little River Art District announces its Art Basel/Miami Art Week multimedia exhibition, Ciudades. This multimedia exhibition will be made up of paintings, music, an installation, sculptures, photography, videos, poetry and essays. Alicia Restrepo, Curator and owner of Etra Fine Art, uses the cities as symbols, differently represented by world known artists, to stimulate a dialog over the most pressing issues of today. Participating artists include: 2501; Ana Maria Gutierrez; André Cypriano; Andriy Halashyn; Francis Hines; Juan Raul Hoyos; and Valeria Yamamoto.

The Opening Reception will take place from Noon to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1st and Etra Fine Art will be open extended hours during Miami Art Week.

CONTEXT Art Miami, the international contemporary fair dedicated to the development and reinforcement of emerging and mid-career artists, will take place December 3-8, 209 for its eighth edition. The fair will feature 96 galleries from 28 countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, The Netherlands, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States. CONTEXT Art Miami continues to develop and push boundaries on the conversation about contemporary art. The Fair offers an exceptionally strong platform for collectors to discover and acquire fresh and significant works in today’s primary art market from emerging and established galleries. The fair will be held alongside Art Miami at the prestigious waterfront location of One Miami Herald Plaza on Biscayne Bay, nestled between the Venetian and MacArthur Causeways in the heart of Downtown Miami. This year’s fair will kick off with a Platinum VIP Preview for top collectors, curators, and members of the press on Tuesday December 3rd, from 4:30PM – 6:00PM to benefit the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). The VIP Preview will open for all VIP Cardholders at 6:00PM and continue until 10PM. The 2019 edition welcomes new exhibitors including Everard Read, Chimento Contemporary, Gallery SU, metroquadro, HOFA Gallery, Galerie Koo, AHA Fine Art, SMO Contemporary Art Ventures, Anthony Brunelli Fine Arts, Galeria Animal and many more. Alongside the Main section, the 2019 edition will feature a series of dynamic exhibitions, solo presentations, sound, video, and sculptures throughout the fair and public outside areas.

DJ Missy Jay will launch a U.S. tour that includes several performances in Miami, FL. She’ll perform during Miami Music Week and also Art Basel where she has the distinction of being the only female in the lineup.

Miami Music Week is a celebration of music at venues around the city. Missy Jay will also perform at the White Room, Cinema, Eve Lounge, News Lounge, Pelican Hotel and Living Room during the festival. The marathon of electronic dance music takes place during the entire last week of March each year, featuring more than 1,000 artists and music lovers from around the globe. Live graffiti painting throughout the day, with a performance by and Missy Jay Transoverload in the evening.

The Techno Festival venue holds about 10,000 people and Missy Jay will be headlining the event alongside her famous male counterparts. The international DJ will take control of the stage at 5 a.m. for an early morning performance. The DJ always seeks to impart a deeper appreciation of dance music’s history and heritage to her audience.

The Italian-born DJ is always searching for new ways to innovate that surprises and amazes her audiences. Her performances are always a new and unique experience to be savored and enjoyed. Always mindful of her fans, she tries to respond to as many requests for selfies as she can.

Missy Jay’s ascension to festival main stages has been meteoric. After the launch of her JayLand Radio Show, she attained even greater acclaim in the Techno industry. Currently based in London, the DJ has played extensively in the U.S., with stops in Chicago, Miami, Detroit and Montreal, Canada, that has earned her a number of high profile fans – Dubfire has expressed his admiration for the rising star.

Equally skilled as a DJ and a producer, Missy Jay has to date released on prestigious labels and also operates her personal MJM Records label. There’s nobody better suited to closing Techno Marathon on the last night of Miami Music Week than Missy Jay.
