We are looking for all types of performers to join our monthly variety show at the historic Olympia Theater. Anything from stand up, burlesque, singers, musicians, ventriloquists, impressions, animal acts, dancers, dance groups, duets, boy bands, hula hoops, magicians, jugglers, stilt walkers, circus acts, weird talents, sword swallowing, human blockhead, artistic piercing acts – we want you!!!
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 17TH , show time 6:30 PM
Please prepare a 3 minute performance. All auditions will be live on stage. The audience’s support will determine if you continue with your performance, but if the audience doesn’t approve, they will lift up their “bang the gong” signs and you will hear the sound of the Gong -that means your time is up, and you did not make the cut. HOWEVER If you get to the end of your performance, you will enter the rotation of paid artists to be featured in our 2018 season of “In the Lobby Lounge…ETC!” Invite your friends for guaranteed support!
The Front Yard Theatre Collective has been producing “In the Lobby Lounge …ETC!” for the past two years, presenting everything from improv and stand up, to burlesque, magic and sideshow acts- even trained parrots! Every month we have a different theme, so we are always on the lookout for new talent. This is the third time we do the GONG show, and the winners performed with us during our 2017 season. If selected, you will join the rotation of paid talent featured at our shows starting in February 2018.

Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre
280 Miracle Mile,
Coral Gables, Florida 33134
Cost: $15 – $64
Did you ever wonder what happens behind the scenes during the producing of a play? Well, we found your answer. Called the funniest farce ever written, Noises Off presents a manic menagerie of itinerant actors rehearsing and performing a flop called “Nothing’s On.” This uproarious comedy features lovers frolicking, doors slamming, clothes being tossed this way and that, with both on stage and back stage hilarity. Noises Off is a sidesplitting festival of delirium that will delight our audiences as part of Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre’s 30th Anniversary Season.
Performances Wednesday – Saturday 8pm, Sunday 3pm
