Volvo Ocean Race Village  in Bicentennial Park Downtown Miami.  So much fun, they have  interactive pavilions like Volvo Ocean Race’s ‘Life At The Extreme’ exhibition.  They also have A 3D cinema, The Dome and a simulator ride that gives you a look at what it feels like being onboard a Volvo Open 70 yacht, you will get a little wet on this ride.  This is free and open to the public and is open til Sunday, May 20th, hours are different day to day so check out the schedule on the Volvo Ocean Race Village Calendar of Events.

Miami Goes Global: Local Leaders Weigh In on Tuesday, May 15, 2012

All the talk of Miami’s rise to prominence as an international city came to a head last night as hundreds of Miami’s business and civic leaders gathered at 1450 Brickell Avenue for “Going Global,” a panel discussion exploring all that’s fueling the Magic City’s growth.

Death and Harry Houdini Cast Questions and Answers at Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, April 29, 2012.  This play is performed by the  Theatre Of Chicago, and wow what an awesome show.  Death and Harry Houdini has all of the components to a great time like comedy, singing, dancing and some amazing magic.  It is performed in the Carnival Studio Theater where you are so close to the action you almost feel as you are a part of the play itself. I was fortunate to sit on the front row and I still can’t figure out how the magic is done.  No, they would not let us take any photos during the play, you just have to go see for yourself.  This is a play you should not miss, it really is so much fun!!!
