The Four Seasons and Other Works
Performed by: Chicago Repertory Ballet
Music by: Antonio Vivaldi
Recomposed by: Max Richter
A ‘narrative-light’ one act ballet, The Four Seasons is a hallmark piece of choreography by Artistic Director Wade Schaaf which exemplifies Chicago Repertory Ballet’s ‘new ballet’ style. Incorporating classical and contemporary movement forms into one ballet, The Four Seasons delights audiences with a series of vignettes from everyday life and is set to the beautiful re-composition of Vivaldi’s original score by Max Ritcher.
