Food Porn Art Exhibit with Award Winning Chefs and Artists at Naked Taco! 12/6/18

Food Porn Art Exhibit with Award Winning Chefs and Artists at Naked Taco!
Thursday, 12/06/2018 – 07:00 pm – 09:00 pm
Naked Taco
111 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL,
miami beach, Florida 33139

Calling all art and foodie enthusiasts! Naked Taco, located in the prime of South Beach, has teamed up with extremely talented artists and brilliant chefs to bring to life a Food Porn Art Exhibit. It took 3 award winning chefs teaming up with 3 phenomenal artists and 3 stunning influencers to create art pieces that showcase the sexual side of food. Food Porn Art Exhibit features @wallflowe12 Photography by Michael Leoncio, Jay “JBon” Bonadio JR @TheUnsigned, and Peterson Guerrier @Mr_Guerrier joined forces with award-winning Chefs Ralph Pagano, Brad Kilgore, and Max Santiago to create art pieces unlike any other.

Seen through the lens and photographed for the food-meets-art collaboration are influencers Bibiana Julian, TV personality, Astrid Bavaresco and one of Miami’s top females DJ’s, Michelle Pooch. Each photograph went through a process of artistic expressions created by Michael Leoncio @Wall- flowe12, Jay “JBon” Bonadio JR @TheUnsigned, and Peterson Guerrier. All three artists alongside the chefs brought a different and unique aspect to each art piece.

Michael Leoncio, known as @wallflowe12, is well known for tastefully depicting the nude human form with his images of masked nude models. Jbon, also known as “The Unsigned Artist”, has been shaking up the art scene for over a decade while keeping a low profile. Starting as a silk screen artist at the age of 15, he has evolved those skills into an original, luxurious “Neo- Mosaic” shattered glass concept of collections that he creates today. And last, but definitely not least Peterson Guerrier; known for creating artwork on canvases which are unique to properly showcase his style. Using a traditional fine art technique fused with an urban flare my work takes turns speaking jazz in a midnight setting, and bleeding emotions from an animalistic perspective.

BACARDÍ and The Dean Collection present No Commission: Miami from December 6 – 7, 2018

The Dean Collection and BACARDÍ present No Commission: Miami 2018, a two-day, art and music fair taking place December 6 – 7, 2018, at Faena Forum in Miami Beach. No Commission was created by BACARDÍ and The Dean Collection to forge a direct link between art and art patronage. No Commission is designed specifically to support artists in different territories around the world.

No Commission: Miami 2018 is themed, “Take the Shot,” which will focus primarily on the medium of photography. As visual communication dominates, picture taking has eclipsed other expressive forms of content capture as an important tool of contemporary storytelling, heightened further by social media. No Commission 2018 examines photography in the digital age by highlighting practitioners who have emerged as compelling narrators of our time.

This year, No Commission invited photographers from around the country to submit their work for consideration. Of those who submitted, a select group of emerging artists and their work have been chosen to showcase at “Take the Shot” come December.

The injection of immersive music performances from collaborator BACARDÍ shakes up the traditional art fair, creating a unique cultural experience for visitors. While we can’t share names yet for the upcoming iteration, past performers have included Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled, A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Pusha T and more.

No Commission Miami is the seventh in a series of artist support collaborations. Past editions were held in Miami, New York, London, Shanghai and Berlin where artworks were sold and artists retained 100% of sales proceeds. The No Commission platform is realized through a partnership between BACARDÍ, Swizz Beatz, and The Dean Collection in their continued support of cultural visionaries around the world.

About BACARDÍ Rums
In 1862, Bacardi revolutionized the spirits industry when founder Don Facundo Bacardí Massó began producing his remarkable light-bodied, smooth rum. The unique taste of BACARDÍ inspired cocktail pioneers to invent some of the world’s most famous drink recipes including the Mojito, the Daiquirí, the Cuba Libre, the Piña Colada, and the Presidente. BACARDÍ Superior rum has won more than 750 awards for quality and taste making it the world’s most awarded rum. Today, BACARDÍ is mainly produced in Puerto Rico, following the production legacy set forth by Don Facundo Bacardi Massó – crafted in a five-step distillation process, mellowed in American white oak barrels, and filtered five times for unparalleled quality and smoothness.

The BACARDÍ® brand is part of the portfolio of Bacardi Limited, headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda. Bacardi Limited refers to the Bacardi group of companies, including Bacardi International Limited. The Bacardi brand portfolio comprises more than 200 brands and labels including GREY GOOSE® vodka, DEWAR’S® Blended Scotch whisky, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® gin, and MARTINI® vermouth and Italian sparkling wines.

Faena Art proudly presents Faena Festival: This Is Not America, an exploration on the multiplicity of cultures across the continent debuting during Miami Art Week from December 3-9, 2018. A new experimental platform, the first-ever Faena Festival is an exploration of “America” as a concept, a myth and a narrative that – at times – has divided us, but ultimately has the power to unify across physical, political and conceptual borders.

Faena Festival: This Is Not America features commissions, installations, videos and performances from a range of incredible artists, including Derrick Adams, Miya Ando, Cecilia Bengolea, Joseph Beuys, Ana Teresa Fernández, Alfredo Jaar, Eugene Jarecki, Isabel Lewis, Boris Mitic, Luna Paiva, George Sánchez-Calderón, Tavares Strachan, Wu Tsang and boychild, Agustina Woodgate and Rev. Houston R. Cypress. The theme of the inaugural Faena Festival, “This Is Not America” is keyed to Miami’s enduring role as a port that welcomes migrants, refugees and tourists across the U.S. and the Americas, and from countries around the world. The festival engages with the multiplicity of communities and cultures and the palimpsest of histories that have created the Americas while responding specifically to Miami as its hemispheric hub.

The conceptual platform, powered by High Hemp, features over 30 interactive works and installations designed to heighten the senses to a whole new degree. The Art Plug Power House is Katz’ effort to disrupt the conventional way consumers engage with art.
The Art Plug Power House will kick off with an opening Vernissage on Wednesday, December 5th, and private viewing on Thursday, December 6th (by appointment only). Following the preview, the 2-day public exhibition will begin on Friday, December 7th through Saturday, December 8th. Single day tickets are $15/pp and multi-day tickets are $20/pp. To purchase tickets and learn more information, please visit or follow on Instagram at @theartplugpowerhouse.

RAW POP UP – Art Basel Week 2018
December 5th to December 9th
An abandoned department store comes alive
A 2-floor 43,000 sq ft multisensory experience

RAW POP UP is an interdisciplinary team and a collective of creators pioneering the Interactive Art Movement (IAM) through multisensory pop up experiences of art, music, technology, and performance art with lasting cultural impact.

Disrupting the “look-don’t-touch” boundaries found in the traditional art context, RAW POP UP encourages you to dive into new and ephemeral experiences where you actively influence art.

This edition of RAW POP UP takes place in a department store from a lost era in the heart of downtown Miami. Over 80 local and international creators, performers, and musicians will collaborate to transform a 43,000 sq ft department store for you to explore. Through immersive performances and interactive art installations you are asked to rethink your values and question your modern ways of living, inducing nostalgia of a time that has passed us.

After evaluating your values in our abandoned department store, find yourself in ALT_Future, a dystopian nightclub where the future is unknown, brought to life by live performances and DJs. The future is what you make of it. What will it look like? Find the answers on the dance floor until the early morning.

P.S: Only those who seek will find Room X.

It is time to return to our senses and support a new economy for creators.
