Photographs taken by Anthony Jordon from the Philanthrofest at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus on Saturaday, April 6, 2013. PhilanthroFest featured more than 100 South Florida non-profits and community agencies, art, music and dance entertainment, a kid’s zone, a community stage, healthy living section, and other family friendly attractions.

PhilanthroFest’s goal includes providing educational resources to non-profits in the areas of social media and on-line engagement, digital marketing and web development. PhilanthroFest creates collaborations between public/private partners and industry experts to create the PhilanthroFest Non-Profit Community Engagement Institutes, educational workshops and hands-on learning opportunities that help strengthen non-profits’ communications strategy, donor loyalty and volunteer engagement. PhilanthroFest helps non-profits excel while connecting the community to their cause.

Photographs taken by Anthony Jordon from (HE)ART & Love: VIP Reception at Shots – Miami on Saturday, February 9, 2013.  We got to see the unveiling of Ed King Pop Art’s new line of work.  Ed King supports the Family Resource Center which oversees the care for over 600 foster kids in Miami-Dade.  A custom shot was designed to benefit the FRC, shots for charity. The money raised through this shot went to benefit the foster kids in Miami-Dade. We also enjoying the sounds of award winning musician, Leo Casino.

Photographs taken by Anthony Jordon from To Be – an Exploration of Possibilities Photography Exhibition at 387 Studios on Saturday, February 2, 2013.  This exhibition was an evening of artistic explorations in the possibilities of life as a human being.

A portion of the proceeds and the donations benefit Creative Clay, whose vision is to make the arts accessible for all. The mission is to provide expressive, educational and vocational opportunities in the arts for people with obstacles to arts access. Creative Clay serves people with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities, as well as people in healthcare settings, children, veterans, and provide outreach art experiences in our community.
