This year’s Fourth Annual John Marshall Everglades Symposium will be a celebration of the 20th anniversary of CERP with a focus on the importance of restoration to Florida’s environment, economy, and future.

The virtual event, to be held in a series of panels throughout the day on Friday December 11th between 10:00 am to 4:45 pm, will bring together key players in Everglades restoration into four panel discussions — The Journey of CERP; Our Clean Water Economy; The Next 20 Years; and Future Leaders in Everglades Restoration.

Panelists include: South Florida Water Management District Chairman of the Governing Board Chauncey Goss; Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Noah Valenstein; Captains for Clean Water Co-Founder & Program Director Chris Whittman; Local 10 Reporter Glenna Milberg; Maverick Boat Group President Scott Deal; and Encounters in Excellence Co-Founder and Filmmaker Richard Kern.
