The National Hotel is hosting a classic rock-themed Open Mic Night at the iconic Blues Bar in honor of Zeke Whitaker, beloved late father of Nicole Marie Whitaker. Songs will pay tribute to Whitaker’s passion for classic rock with genre inspired tunes. Music lovers and aspiring artists are encouraged to “live a day in the life” of a rockstar by singing and/or playing classic rock tracks alongside the hotel’s featured band. Singers are encouraged to RSVP in advance and send their song choice to sales@nationalhotel.com. After an electrifying performance, singers and audience members can “come together” at the Blues Bar to enjoy 2 for 1 cocktails, available all night long, and $8 tapas.
