Students and Teachers are invited to the First-Ever Miami Dade Youth Climate Summit

The Miami Youth Climate Summit, hosted by the Gulliver Field Studies Program, is a student-led initiative featuring keynote speakers Ron Magill of Zoo Miami, Zack Rago of the Netflix documentary, Chasing Coral, and National Geographic Explorers, made up of conservationists, scientists and educators. The Summit includes three breakout sessions with multiple speakers, a screening of Chasing Coral and a National Geographic Teacher Certification session.
The purpose of the Summit is to set the framework for collaboration among today’s youth to fight climate change, and to establish a Student Advisory Board on Climate Change in Florida, led by Gulliver.
Tickets are $20 and include lunch. For every 10 students, 1 teacher is admitted free of charge. Reserve your spot at gulliver.life/mycs19.
