One of the area’s most popular charity food events, March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction hosted by Executive Chef Paula DaSilva of Burlock Coast at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, will return for its 22nd year on Wednesday, September 26. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale Beach and features Emcee Kenny Walker of 102.7 The Beach.
Prominent area chefs will prepare their signature dishes created exclusively for the evening. Chef Culinary Chair Reynier De La Osa of Publix Aprons Cooking School and Host Culinary Chair Chef Paula DaSilva of Burlock Coast will be joined by a stellar lineup of chefs from more than a dozen of the area’s most prominent restaurants, including Sous Chef Derrick Connor of Royal Pig Pub & Kitchen, Executive Chef Adrienne Grenier of 3030 Ocean, Executive Chef Marc Gruverman of The Capital Grille, Executive Chef Javier Jaramillo of Sea Level, Executive Chef Eric LuBan of JB’s on the Beach, Chef Gordon Maybury, Culinary Director of Corsair Kitchen & Bar, Executive Chef Jeff Pfeiffer of Lobster Bar Sea Grille, Executive Chef Chris Miracolo of TRP Taste, Chef Pablo Salas of Lona Cocina Tequileria, Pastry Chef Carlos Salazar of The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale and Executive Chef Jeff Vincent of Funky Buddha Brewery.
Following the tasting, there will be a plated dessert and a spirited live auction featuring many once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and our very special Fund the Mission.
“The Signature Chefs Auction is a unique opportunity to experience the diverse culinary talent in the Broward community while celebrating and supporting a great cause,” says Host Culinary Chair Chef DaSilva. “We are thrilled and honored to have this gifted group of chefs joining us in our mission to lead the fight for the health of all moms and babies.”
Funds raised by Signature Chefs Auction help support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy so that every baby can have the best possible start.
Today, one in 10 babies in the United States is born premature, including one in 10 in Florida. March of Dimes is committed to working together to improve the health of every mom and baby.
