Through the generosity of Artistic Director Joseph Adler, GableStage is hosting a special preview performance of their next event- “White Guy on a Bus” by Bruce Graham. 100% of the proceeds from this event go to supporting Orchestra Miami and our excellent musicians!! Tickets are just $40 per person, and include drinks and light refreshments.
The story is simple: Week after week, a wealthy white businessman rides the same bus, befriending a single black mom. As they get to know one another, their pasts unfold and tensions rise, igniting a disturbing and crucial exploration of race. Don’t miss the Southeastern US premiere of this work, which the New York Times calls “thought-provoking, riveting theater”.
