The Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA) is pleased to welcome Latin GRAMMY Award-winning artist Dr. Ed Calle for a special performance as part of its monthly “Jazz at MOCA” series. Calle originates from Venezuela and is best known for playing the saxophone, however he is also a talented composer, orchestrator, producer, scholar, and professor at Miami Dade College.

Calle is a master of his trade and has been described as “the most versatile saxophonist on the planet.” His rhythms can be heard on more than 1,200 albums, almost 9,000 singles and countless movie and television tracks.

The public is invited to dance to the rhythms of Dr. Ed Calle under the stars, rain or shine.

Guests may also enjoy MOCA’s current exhibition “Monarchs: Brown and Native Contemporary Artists in the Path of the Butterfly” by donation.
