What:
UNICEF USA is teaming up with the Miami Marlins to spread the word about UNICEF Kid Power. Join us at the game on Sunday, May 13th at 1:10PM as the Marlins take on the Atlanta Braves. This game is a part of Marlins Family Sundays and will feature special family-focused activities throughout the day – including a UNICEF Kid Power activation table. Not only will Marlins fans enjoy a great Sunday ball game, but the entire stadium will take part in UNICEF Kid Power promotional activities that demonstrate the power of what can happen when people get active to save lives.

Why:
May 2018 is UNICEF Kid Power Month – a national campaign calling all kids and families to use Kid Power to get active and help save lives. Whether you are a student who uses Kid Power in the classroom or a family that wants to bring the program to even more children around the country – Kid Power Month will give Americans the opportunity to empower the next generation of global citizens while supporting UNICEF’s lifesaving mission.

About UNICEF
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) works in 190 countries and territories to put children first. UNICEF has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization, by providing health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more. UNICEF USA supports UNICEF’s work through fundraising, advocacy and education in the United States.
