There is no doubt that Greeks have the most exciting celebrations for Easter, filled with endless amounts of foods, festive dancing and centuries-old family traditions. Want to experience Easter in Greece in your South Florida backyard — minus the cooking and clean up?

This year, Meraki Greek Bistro, a dazzling hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Downtown Miami (142 SE 1st Avenue, Miami, FL, 33131), will allow guests to transport to Greece with a weekend-long event. On Saturday, April 7, co-owners Alex Karavias and executive chef Giannis Kotsos will offer one-of-a-kind experiences and late night dining from 12 AM – 2 AM, including live Greek music with a bouzouki player (it wouldn’t be Greek music without one!) and a limited menu with traditional delicacies, including “Mageiritsa” which is the Easter soup, “Kokoretsi”, “Frygadeli”, and roasted lamb. On Greek Easter Sunday, April 8, Meraki will continue with the limited Easter menu from 12 PM – 5 PM. Starting at 7 PM, Meraki will be hosting an International BALKAN Easter Party, featuring an international DJ that will celebrate all cultures. All for $40, guests will be able to enjoy the live music along with an “all you can eat” Easter buffet and complimentary drink. Not hungry? No problem! You can pay $20 and still enjoy the music, vibrant party and free drink.

Please note, the bistro also offers customers 3 hours of parking for $1 in the Miami Tower (100 SE 2nd St, Miami, FL 33131).
