Family Fun Day features workshops all day, an evening program celebration featuring a concert for North Miami residents, food trucks and refreshment stands. Free for North Miami residents, MOCA members, and Copperbridge Foundation members and guests. Events include:

9:00am – Yoga Flow for Kids with Karmen Plasencia
10:00am – CeramiCommunity Mask-Making Workshop
11:00am – Yoga Flow for Adults with Karmen Plasencia
1:00pm – Family African Drum Workshop with Inez Barlatier
2:00pm – Haitian Folk Dance Workshop with Tradisyon Lakou Lakay
4:00pm – Salsa Class with Jessica Obregon
5:00pm – Afro-Cuban Jewelry Workshop with Donna Freeman of Spirit&Beyond

Copper Fest Concert (Plaza with Showmobile)
6:00pm – DJ Erick Paredes (Afro-Tropical Latin Funk, Soul)
7:00pm – Soul of Brass (Miami-based Brass Band)
8:00pm – Agape featuring Nadia Harris (Multicultural Soul, Reggae, Dub)
9:00pm – Sintesis (Legendary Afro-Cuban Band)

Copperbridge Foundation’s Copper Fest is a series of cultural and educational workshops, exhibits, performances, and lectures/panel discussions that promote human interaction and understanding within the community through art — in appreciation of their differences and in the discovery of their similarities.
