Jazz Academy Miami (JAM) is proud to present the U.S. debut of contemporary music ensemble Black String at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Friday, January 13, 2017. This exciting quartet from South Korea creates a unique language that is traditional, yet unpredictable, and steeped in rich, folkloric traditions of Korea. The Washington Post wrote, “This is music fully of the 21st century, in all its global, postmodernist glory.” Tickets are $30 per person and free for lap infants 12-months and younger.
