Your presence (and performance) is requested at the Poetry Slam (hosted by Jonathan Rose of Famous Last Friday Open Mic Poetry Series at Books & Books in Coral Gables– one of the 50 longest-running regular readings in the U.S.) on behalf of the South Florida Writers Association. South Florida poets will have the opportunity to share their words with the rest of the community–keeping in mind that this has been advertised as a “family friendly” event.
