Concrete Beach will be celebrating the re-release of Cuba’s most-iconic beer, La Tropical. Recreated by the Concrete Beach brewing team using the founding family’s original recipe, this Vienna-style lager first debuted in Havana in 1888. By 1958, La Tropical accounted for nearly 60% of all beer sold in Cuba, before being nationalized in 1960 and eventually ceasing production. Concrete Beach will be capturing the spirit of the legendary gardens or “los Jardines” of the La Tropical Brewery, where so many great Cuban musical artists have performed. The Social Hall will come alive with live Cuban music by the Oriente Jazz Trio, Cuban food from The Dancing Palatte & hand rolled cigars from Cigar Stud. La Tropical we be available in the Social Hall for a limited time only.
