FoodSpark Miami will be debuting its second pop-up potluck event in the City of Hialeah at the historic Hialeah Market Station. Hialeah residents of all ages are invited to join us for a fun, interactive gathering where they’ll have an opportunity to bond and collaborate over great food provided by local restaurants, and conversation around social issue topics relevant to their immediate community. Seating for this event is limited, so RSVPs are highly encouraged in order to guarantee we have enough chairs for everyone.

FoodSpark Miami is an initiative of Celebrate Diversity Miami, a large-scale community engagement initiative founded in October 2014 that aims to promote a deepened sense of connectivity between the culturally and ethnically diverse neighborhoods of greater Miami. It’s made possible in part by the K880 Emerging City Champions fellowship, a program of 880 Cities with support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, as well as the 2015 Public Space Challenge, a program of The Miami Foundation with support from Baptist Health South Florida.

Special thanks to our wonderful volunteers, and Hialeah event partners including: City of Hialeah – Municipal Government, JLPR, Engage Miami, Life Is Art, Inc, Art Central Miami, The New Tropic, WhereBy.Us, PARK Project, Night School, Radical Partners, Emerge Miami, alphabet city design + marketing, Social Chats rep.
