Clarke Education Center to cover the topic Walk, Bike, Take Transit, It’s Good For Your Health. This event is part of a series of community activities hosted by Friends of The Underline and Baptist Health South Florida to inform and energize the community of the project. South Miami Hospital joins Friends of the Underline to display renderings of The Underline next to the Hospital’s campus from Jan. 22-Feb. 28 in the hospital’s lobby.
Friends of The Underline are leading the initiative to transform the underutilized land below Metrorail from the Miami River to Dadeland South into a 10-mile linear park, urban trail and living art destination. The master plan, designed by James Corner Field Operations in NYC (designers of the High Line in New York City) was completed in December 2015.
