The annual tree lighting ceremony is just one of the many festivities planned for the annual Main Street “Festival of Lights,†now celebrating its 31st year. The Festival of Lights is a family tradition among residents of the Town of Miami Lakes and neighboring cities. The 31st Annual Main Street Festival of Lights is scheduled to take place along the two blocks of Downtown Miami Lakes. The event will be hosted by MY93.9 and will feature Lighting of Main Street, indoor meet and greet with Santa, Live DJ, and performances by students from local schools, as well as games and prizes through 10 p.m.
