The new school year is right around the corner, and that means it’s time to start thinking about textbooks, school supplies and making sure your children look new year ready!
Beauty Schools of America aims to give back to the community with an ambitious philanthropic goal as back to school approaches. They have been actively touring throughout the community on the weekends, donating their time and talents giving a total of 2,786 free haircuts to date. They aim to reach 4,000 free haircuts by the end of August.
They are calling out to all parents with children who need a new look or a simple cut before the new school year, for their biggest event yet at Betty T. Ferguson Recreation, Complex Auditorium. The mayor will be in attendance greeting the community supporting this amazing back-to-school family fair.
