Did you know 1/3 of the world’s crops are pollinated by honeybees? Or that honeybees “dance” to communicate the location of nearby nectar? Sadly, the population of these amazing creatures is in rapid decline, but there are simply ways we can help. Fairchild is honoring these incredible insects with a weekend of beekeeping demos, honeybee products for sale, and lectures on what we can do to protect the bee population.
