Miami has the largest concentration of Colombians outside of Colombia, and they are passionate about music and celebrating their Independence Day.

Move over Ultra and Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution! MegaRumba Colombia will take over Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami on Saturday July 18 with a stellar lineup including three-time Latin Grammy® winner, singer/songwriter Fonseca, who just released his latest single “Entre Mi Vida y La Tuya”. Also front and center will be the salsa legends Grupo Niche and Puerto Rican Victor Manuelle, who just released his latest album that includes songs with Vallenato rhythm. Meanwhile, Barranquilleros will be happy to see their beloved Binomio de Oro bringing their Colombian Caribbean beat straight to our doorstep. Direct from Medellin, Reggaeton and Grammy Latino’s 2013 Best New Artist, Maluma, will bring his catchy “La Temperatura” to this party.

MegaRumba Colombia will also give the newer generation the spotlight, including Lil Silvio y El Vega from Cartagena. Their latest single, “Mi Declaración”, has received over 27 million YouTube views. The lineup will also include the young Venezuelan singer Tomas the Latin Boy, whose “Bailalo” music video reached #1 in Colombia. Professionally managed by SWARM and co-hosted by Mega949 FM, the festival will continue to add artists to the star- studded cast of musicians.
