Join us on Tuesday, January 20th at 7pm at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden for an evening of performances, food, and drink – all with the flavor and flair of Spain, Portugal, and the Middle East!
Hosted & curated by hanan, featuring the Habibi Orchestra Remix, there will be a concert of Ladino, Middle Eastern, Turkish, Afro Cuban, Spanish, Haitian,
African & Caribbean music and dance, plus live poetry and performance art.

Convivencia Miami 2015 is a four-month arts and culture project modeled on the historical period, “La Convivencia.” It brings together artists, performers and scholars to discuss and celebrate the interwoven influences of the arts, language, science and religion during a time of peace between Jewish, Muslim, and Christian populations on the Iberian peninsula. Arts at St. Johns believes that this period is a model for intercultural understanding, cross-fertilization and tolerance in South Florida.
