South Florida based artist Daniel Listwan’s background is in the ceramic field but he frequently employs various non-ceramic media to realize his body of work. His work is characterized as having a scientific aesthetic with a dark edge, an aesthetic that is informed by themes of the self-destructive behavior of the human species and notions of the superiority of the human animal.
