Broward Art Guild’s Art Florida Juried Exhibition is a celebration of excellence in art and recognizes some of today’s top emerging artists. The public is invited to attend the opening and awards reception on April 12th. Come enjoy fine art, drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Admission is free. This year’s juror is Miles Laventhall. With a top award of $1,500 for “Best in Show”, $200 prizes for the five best of category winners, and $100 prizes for five Judge’s Recognition awards. Awards to be presented in the following categories: Painting, Drawing, and Print Making, Sculpture and 3-D Work, Photography, Mixed Media and Collage, Computer and Electronic Art. Art Florida 2014 will be exhibited at the JM Family Enterprises Gallery at ArtServe.
