HistoryMiami highlights local muralists in its newest exhibition on Miami’s burgeoning art scene. “Some Like It Hot” is the first museum exhibition created by trailblazing Wynwood artists, showcasing Miami’s popular street art movement.

Street art in Miami has exploded in popularity in recent years, with the Wynwood neighborhood becoming one of the area’s major attractions for both tourists and locals. Local artist Brandon Opalka, who curated the exhibition, says artists he recruited to participate are honored to have a museum legitimize their work.

Some of the artists that contributed exclusive works for the exhibition include 2alas, Lo Castro, George Sanchez-Calderon and the MSG Crew.
