What is power2give.org?
power2give.org is an online “cultural marketplace” designed to connect a donor’s passion for the arts with cultural projects in need of funding. The site allows arts organizations to post and promote projects, and invites donors to contribute directly to the projects that are most intriguing to them.
Who can post a project?
To post a project, your organization must:
have obtained a determination of tax-exempt status with the IRS under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code;
have received a grant from the Department of Cultural Affairs in the last five (5) years;
have obtained a Charitable Donations Registration number with the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; and
be located in Miami-Dade County; and post projects that are arts, science, history or heritage based and have a cost less than $10,000.
