FIU Theatre presents: Julius Caesar
by William Shakespeare, directed by Phillip M. Church

This timeless powerhouse of a play stands on its own merit, no matter what century it’s presented in. Expect a contemporary approach with gender changes and multimedia effects, all of which are designed to illustrate how relevant Shakespeare’s best works are to today’s audiences. Watch how, once again, the aphrodisiac of power corrupts even the most earnest of men and hear that famous line “Et tu, Brute?” as Caesar falls. Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears… You won’t want to miss this show.

Special Events:
– Opening Night Reception: Friday, February 28 – Pre & post-show refreshments beginning at 7PM.
– Theatre of the Mind: Sunday, March 2 – A 45-minute post show panel discussion of the ideas and topics of the play.
– Inside Scoop: Wednesday, March 5 – A 30-minute behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show led by select members of the cast and production teams.
