Uniting Miami’s local community to kick off the holiday season, Village of Merrick Park presents its annual tree lighting ceremony. Now in its 11th year, the majestic 50-foot tree decorated is the undeniable symbol of the holidays in Miami. Thousands of locals will gather for a night full of entertainment and activities for children and families including a visit from Santa Claus, special performances by the Coral Gables High School Choir and more. Select retailers will also provide shopping promotions during the event such as special discounts or a gift with purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to the event for the Toys for Tots gift drive.
