PULSE Miami 2013 will once again return to the Ice Palace Studios from December 5-8. For its ninth edition, the fair will welcome the visitors in a completely new layout that will include bigger booths and greater visibility for the exhibitors, creating a more welcoming and accessible experience for visitors. The fair will maintain its signature outdoor space which will feature special PULSE Projects, hammocks, and gourmet food.

PULSE is proud to announce the final list of guest jurors for the PULSE Prize: Isolde Brielmaier, Professor, NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Independent Curator; Andrew Goldstein, Executive Editor, Artspace; Todd Levin, advisor and curator; Trevor Smith, Curator of Contemporary Art, Peabody Essex Museum; and Anne Tschida, freelance journalist, Miami Herald.

The recipient of the 2013 PULSE Prize – a cash grant that is awarded to an emerging artist of distinction, featured in the IMPULSE section of the fair – will be announced on Friday, December 6, 2013. Last year’s prize recipient, Nadine Wottke, has designed this year’s limited edition PULSE Miami tote bags.
