Enjoy a slice of German Tradition as the Oktoberfest is coming to town. Enjoy an afternoon of fun for the entire family in an outdoor carnival setting.The Oktoberfest menu will include typical southern German food and beverages, including Bratwurst, chicken Schnitzel, meat loaf sandwich, sauerkraut, red cabbage, potato salad, mixed salad and of course, the world renown pretzels. An abundant dessert buffet will be served. A silent auction and raffle will feature a wide variety of items, and vendors will display merchandise. Classroom booths will feature classic children’s games and carnival rides will offer entertainment for kids of all ages.More than 100 children from Sunset Elementary, Henry S. West Laboratory, G.W. Carver Middle and Coral Reef Senior High schools will showcase German culture and heritage through music, dance and traditional attire.
