Miami was built and grew up in the age of the automobile. Today, with the dynamic renaissance of residential development in the urban core and the ever increasing access to new alternative modes of transportation – including transit, trolleys, car and bike sharing, and passenger rail service – are last century’s parking needs still relevant?

The panel will address issues of how to best regulate parking in Miami, what factors should be considered, and the role of government and the market in determining parking requirements for new development, redevelopment, and adaptive reuse of existing building stock. Seating is limited, please register today!

Panelists include:
Bernardo Fort-Brescia, FAIA, Principal, Arquitectonica
Joseph Furst, Managing Director – Wynwood, Goldman Properties
Harvey Hernandez, Chairman & Managing Director, Newgard
Dr. Ruth L. Steiner, Professor of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Florida
Moderator: Andrew Frey, Development Manager, CC Residential & Executive Director, Townhouse Center
