Ultimate Miami, LLC, creator of Miami’s talent competitions showcasing local rising stars in the fields of mixology, entertainment and culinary arts, will feature finalists competing for a cash prize of $5,000 and the title of Ultimate Miami Drag Queen. Celebrities Perez Hilton, Chad Michaels and Thelma Houston will headline the evening’s entertainment.

“We’re thrilled to host this saucy event featuring South Florida’s most flamboyant divas,” said Scott Savin, Chief Operating Officer of Magic City Casino. “Having Perez Hilton, Chad Michaels and Thelma Houston star as part of the show will certainly make this raucous event even more memorable. It’s going to be quite the evening!”

Miami-native celebrity gossip blogger and TV personality, Perez Hilton, will lend his unique hand to the signature event by serving as the celebrity judge. Hilton’s blog, perezhilton.com, blends star gossip with his own entertaining and sometimes controversial take on celebrity happenings. In 2012, Hilton made a guest appearance on the hit show, “Glee.” The panel of judges will be completed by Where Magazine South Florida editor, Aurora Rodriguez, and radio personality and co-host of South Florida’s First News on News Talk WIOD 610AM/100.3, Manny Munoz.
 
The evening’s entertainment will include a performance by drag entertainer, Chad Michaels. Originally a Cher impersonator, Michaels became famous as the runner up on the fourth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and as the winner of “RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race.” Michaels will be accompanied by Grammy-Award winning R&B artist, Thelma Houston, whose best known song is “Don’t Leave Me This Way.” She has recently made appearances on “American Idol” and “America’s Got Talent.”
