Congratulations To James Echols!
We are Honored to Announce that James Echols will be Honored as Recipient of the 2013 “Spirit of Miami” Community Leadership Award at Miami Style Fusion on June 22!

James Echols has been working together with Annette Peikert as event producers, amongst other things for nearly 20 years. Since moving to Miami nine years ago, he has become very involved in the community. James has enjoyed considerable success, producing dozens of shows, seminars, and networkers over the past three years.

James’ charitable works have no limit. Being so in touch with the community, he noticed a need for greater support for other philanthropic organizations operating in South Florida.

In July of 2008, James co-founded the very popular community-resource website, Soul Of Miami. In January of 2009, co-founded Life Is Art, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting and promoting the arts in south Florida through events and education.

James co-founded PhilanthroFest, a volunteer based organization that connects people, passion and philanthropy in South Florida. PhilanthroFest features more than 100 South Florida non-profits and community agencies, art, music and dance entertainment, a community stage, and other family friendly attractions, connecting 1000’s of South Florida residents to valuable resources and services in many areas: Cultural/Arts/Humanities, Educational, Environmental, Health/Human Services/Disease Prevention, Poverty/Welfare, Animal Related, Recreation & Sports, and Youth Development & Services.
