Joey’s Italian Café, the award-winning contemporary eatery that helped to shape Wynwood into a dining and entertainment destination, will launch ‘Wines in the Garden’ – a series of al fresco wine tastings to showcase a rotating roster of wines from around the globe, paired with light bites prepared by Veneto-born Executive Chef Ivo Mazzon. The series kicks off on Thursday, April 25th 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Priced affordably at $30 per person, guests will enjoy personalized tastings from Argentina’s renowned Ferllen Winery and Vinifera Imports, the preeminent importer of premium Italian wines. Ferllen will be introducing their Cabernet Sauvignon, Gran Reserve Malbec and Torrontes, while Vinifera will present an array of Italian wines including Inzolia “Caruso & Minini”, Pinot Grigio Ramato “Zeni”, Valplicella “Brigaldara” and Barbera D’Alba “I Piani”. Representatives from both companies will be on hand to speak about the wines and answer any questions. Guests will also enjoy a buffet featuring a selection of culinary delights including sausage braised with red wine, assorted canapés, Italian meats and cheeses and more.

‘Wines in the Garden’ will take place in the new garden at Joey’s Italian Café. Space is limited and reservations are required.
