Maximiliano Pecce, born in Rosario, Argentina, 1978, works using different types of plastic materials and found objects. His work is based on cast assembly techniques, thus ensuring each work is abstract in nature with its various textures and shapes that comes from the heating process; yet figurative enough to decode in a symbolic way.

For the artist, his message is clear. It expresses and demonstrates the excessive amount of non-biodegradable plastic consumer goods that harm the environment.

Through ‘upcycling’ these discarded goods into works of art, he wants people to become aware of the great global pollution caused by humans. In creating awareness, he uses these plastic materials by drawing you in with his colorful and everyday objects.
