Zignum Mezcal, the premium mezcal known for its unique taste and refreshing palate, is proud to once again be a part of the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival Presented by Food & Wine¹s sold-out Garden to Glass event taking place on February 22, 2013 from 10pm-1am. For one lucky Facebook fan, Zignum was able to snag two extra tickets, valued at $190, and is hosting a giveaway on their page. Zignum, which made its U.S. debut at the 2011 SOBEWFF, is the purest form of mezcal, Mexico¹s oldest spirit with over 400 years of history.

To enter, you must Like Zignum on Facebook (www.facebook.com/zignum) and comment on the ³Zignum Giveaway² post, telling the brand what fresh ingredient you would like to see in their next Zignum cocktail. The winner will be selected at random and receive the two tickets, for them and a guest, to the event.

The winner of the contest will spend the evening with legendary chef Emeril Lagasse as he takes over Miami Beach¹s Botanical Gardens for a late-night experience featuring fresh ingredients, innovative spirits and soulful seafood.

Miami¹s own master bartenders, Elad Zvi and Gabe Orta of Bar Lab, will be crafting cocktails using the herbs and plants growing straight from the botanical garden. Additionally, guests will enjoy locally sourced ceviche from rising star Chef Sam Gorenstein from his celebrated new restaurant, My Ceviche.

Made with 100 percent green agave and exuding a smooth, earthy taste, Zignum Mezcal is versatile, easy to mix and a superior choice because of its purity. For the event, Bar Lab will be serving the ³Oaxacan Palate²: Blood orange, Smoked Ancho Chili, Coriander Bitters mixed with Zignum Mezcal. Zignum will also have its own footprint that evening with its own mixologist, Chris Hudnall, making original cocktails using fresh ingredients and herbs that include:

“Punta Cometa”
Zignum Anejo Mezcal
Chilli Powder Pineapple Syrup (Semi-Sun Dried)
Lime Juice
House-Made Apricot Fortified Wine
Garnish: Dehydrated Apricot Wheel & Pomegranate Seeds

“The Buddy Miles”
