A festival where ART, ECOLOGY and WELLNESS become ONE

A family beach event where green enthusiasts, artists, and wellness educators come together to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainability.

MIAMI, FL (January 28, 2013) The fauna and flora of the Historical Virginia Key Beach Park in Key Biscayne, will be the backdrop for Artecology Festival presented by RCKZ MVMT {Rockers Movement} on March 9, 2013 starting at 11am until sundown. An international event, the festival will feature eco-artists, craft vendors, wellness educators, an interactive children’s art workshop along with music and food. Admission is free.

A first time event in the USA, the festival is produced by Iraklis Kalamenios, the founder and organizer for Artecology Festival 2013. The Miami based festival is dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and building community partners with similar interests. The event involves green technology, wellness workshops and products while using the transformative power of music, arts, culture and technology to empower our community. It has had huge success in Europe since 2005. “Artecology is made possible with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.”

Community Partners of the event include 305 Green, American Art Initiative, The Big Blue and You, Core Connection Lifestyle, Global Flow PR, Miccosukee Magazine TV, Wisebuys Magazine, and RCKZ MVMT {Rockers Movement}.
