Overtown Music Project Annual Fundraiser at Liv in the Fontainebleau Hotel on Saturday, January 26, 2013.  What a wonderful time and it showcased 18-piece big band Hip Hop / Mash Up. The event celebrated the connection between Overtown and the Fontainebleau Hotel where Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie and Etta James once performed. Several musicians who played in Overtown’s numerous venues during its heyday, now in their 60s – 90s, where showcased.
